Introduction: Design Strategy for a Sports Goods Store: "HemingWeigh"

At the core of our design strategy for the sports store "HEMINGWEIGH" lies a series of well-defined stages, each contributing to creating a coherent and impactful visual identity. The essence of our HEMINGWEIGH sports store design strategy is centered around the importance of simplicity and elegance. This principle organically extends from a carefully selected logo to our entire approach to design.


Problem Statement: The company needed a contemporary and user-friendly website and store on e-commerce platforms that helped increase sales.


Design Process: Through collaborative brainstorming sessions, we extracted fundamental values and aspirations that "HEMINGWEIGH" represents:

  • Quality

  • Conciseness

  • Accessibility


Design Elements and Techniques:


Logo Crafting: The selection of a black color palette for the logo was deliberate – it embodies strength, determination, and timelessness. The font, with its rounded contours and graceful curves, adds an inviting touch to the brand. The distinctive round termination of the "G" subtly conveys the sense of movement and progression integral to sports.


Minimalist Design Language: We aimed to strip away unnecessary elements and create a design that communicates with clarity. The minimal use of color deliberately emphasizes the core aspects and ensures a clean, uncluttered aesthetic.


In line with our "HEMINGWEIGH" design strategy, we have strategically incorporated carefully crafted line icons to emphasize the essence of the brand - clarity, focus, and simplicity.





Layout and Interface Design: Keeping user experience at the forefront, our layouts are designed for intuitive navigation and easy interaction. The focus is on enabling customers to seamlessly explore products, encouraging a meaningful connection with the merchandise.

Testing: The finalized designs underwent rigorous testing to ensure their functionality across various devices and platforms. User testing provided insights into user interactions and further fine-tuned our techniques.


Results and Impact: The redesigned website led to an increase in user engagement and an increase in organic traffic. As a result, we developed a design for the HEMINGWEIGH store, which includes a design strategy, branding, design for promotional, brand product, packing, AD, home page store, and more. Our design and collective work with the marketing department helped us to increase sales, get "Amazon Choice" recognition for some products, and attract attention from our customers.
